Ereb Altor - Skogsrået
This song is inspired and influenced by old Swedish folk music in the melodies. Lyrically it deals with the old myth and legend ”Skogrået” or ”Skogsfrun”. A female creature from the folklore that rules in the nature and in this case the forests. Sometimes they trick people to get lost but its not an evil creature, Skogsrået can also aid people in need.

When I first started listening to Castle it was a while before I realized they're not German, they're from San Francisco. It was just so hard to believe that an American, female-fronted metal band could sound this good in the 2010's. It's still hard to believe!!! Yet the evidence is incontrovertible... Love this. So many different influences to give it a fresh and unique sound. Vocals remind me of my favorite UK DM Mark Ingram of Benediction
This is why the album is so attractive, it is a mix of styles done really well. It is an adventure.
